Safety & Check-in
Check-in
At check-in, your child stays with our Axess Kids teacher and assistant as the group gathers, then they’re walked together to the classroom. When service is ending, our leaders bring the kids back to the sanctuary so you can reconnect right away—your child is with our kids team for every transition.
Background Checks
Each volunteer at Axess Kids must go through a thorough background check and training process. Additionally, new attenders at Axess Church are not able to serve in Axess Kids until they’ve been with the church for 90+ days.
Teachers
Our Axess Kids teachers are trained to remain in the room with the kids at all times—children are never left alone or unsupervised. Our team is also trained to teach the Bible in an age-appropriate way, lead with safety, and create a fun, engaging environment where kids love learning and parents can feel confident.
Meet Amber King
Amber King is our Axess Kids Director. She leads and organizes our kids team each week—recruiting and scheduling volunteers, training them to teach the Bible well and care for kids with excellence, and making sure check-in, transitions, and classrooms run smoothly. Her heart is to create a safe, fun environment where kids are known, cared for, and growing in their faith.
