Sign up to distribute the Easter Eggs on Easter morning, April 9th. All that you need is a working vehicle and a good alarm clock!
How it works
Sign up.
Indicate how many hours you can volunteer for.
You’ll be given bags full of eggs with an address on it.
Wake up Easter morning, and visit each address to cover their lawn in eggs, all before church at 10am!
Be a volunteer.
What kind of candy will be in the eggs?
We will fill the eggs with an assortment of pre-wrapped, name-brand candy.
What time will this happen?
We will drop the eggs off anywhere between 6 am and 9:30 am on Easter Sunday morning.
Do I need to be outside when you arrive?
Nope! Feel free to enjoy your morning coffee while we drop the eggs off. If you’d like to come out and say hi, we’d welcome it, but don’t expect it.
Can I make a donation?
If you’d like to contribute financially, please make a donation through our giving page. We are grateful for any donations, but this is entirely free and you should not feel like you need to give anything.
What if I don’t get a spot?
Due to the limited spots we have, there is a chance that we will be full before you sign up. If this happens, we will make sure to let you know earlier next year. We also hope to have more volunteers by next year to increase our capacity for this.
Why are you only doing it in Glen Ellyn?
There are two reasons. One, Glen Ellyn is our home. That is where our church is and we want to serve Glen Ellyn as best we can. Secondly, our volunteers will need time to make it to church that day, so Glen Ellyn keeps them in proximity.
