Prizes for the Top 3 Most Fish Caught
All fish must be verified by a volunteer before counting toward your total
Each child will be given a scorecard and fish will be counted via a unique hole-punch system
Worms will be provided—but bring your own gear!
Fishing pole and bait (we’ll provide worms)
Water bottle

Age Limit: Participants must be 12 years old or younger.
Check-in: All kids must check in between 8:00–8:30am.
Safety First: Life jackets are recommended for younger children. Parents/guardians are required to stay and supervise.
Gear: Bring your own fishing gear. Worms will be provided for bait.
Catch Verification:
Each fish must be shown to a tournament volunteer (they’ll be wearing bright vests).
Call over a volunteer once your fish breaches the water.
Volunteers will use a unique hole punch to mark your scorecard for each catch.
No punch = no point!
Scoring:
Catfish - 4 punches
Bass - 2 punches
Dinks - 1 punch
Only fish caught between 9:15am and 10:45am count toward scoring.
Awards:
Prizes for Most Fish caught, per age group. There will be one winner, per age group.
PreK-1st
2nd - 4th
5th - 7th
In case of a tie, whoever has a birthday closest to May 17 wins.
No Cheating: No keeping fish caught before the official time, and no fishing outside designated zones.
Adults can help with everything except casting the line and reeling the catch in to shore.
Respect Nature: No littering. Treat the lake and wildlife with care.
Final Authority: Axess Church reserves the right to make final decisions, resolve disputes, or adjust rules at any time to ensure fairness and safety.
